The 2023 European Open Antwerp will take place from October 16-22 in Antwerp, Belgium. The entry list for the ATP 250 event has now been released and it includes some of the Tour's highest-ranked players.

The tournament has a solid track record of bringing in big names and this year is no exception, with two top-10 players leading the field. The first seed will be World No. 5 Stefanos Tsitsipas. This is the first time that the Greek player has taken to the court here since 2017, when he reached the semi-finals.

He will be looking for some better results at these tournaments after a disappointing run at the US Open where he was defeated by Dominic Stricker in the second round. He also made early exits at the Canadian Open and the Cincinnati Masters. However, he did win the Los Cabos Open in August.

World No. 7 Jannik Sinner will also compete at the tournament as the second seed. The Italian has had a solid summer overall, winning his first ATP Masters 1000 title at the Canadian Open in Toronto and making it to the fourth round of the US Open where he lost a five-set battle with Alexander Zverev.

The 22-year-old also has the chance to become the first multiple-winner of the European Open as he won it back in 2021. The defending champion, Felix Auger-Aliassime, will not be present this year.

Seeded third is World No. 20 Grigor Dimitrov. The Bulgarian is usually strong on indoor hard courts so this event should suit him well. He reached the semi-finals of the tournament back in 2020. Meanwhile, Jan-Lennard Struff will be the fourth seed. The German is returning to competitions this fall after injuries caused him to be absent from the Tour for several months.

The other Top 30 contenders are Borna Coric and Alexander Bublik, who are seeded fifth and sixth respectively. Rounding out the eight highest-ranked players at the European Open will be Sebastian Korda and Ugo Humbert.

Other players to look out for on the entry list include rising talent Arthur Fils, one of the year's most improved players Yannick Hanfmann, and the tournament's inaugural champion Richard Gasquet, who is making his seventh visit to Antwerp after winning the first edition in 2016.
