The entry list is set for the ATP 250 BMW Munich Open, taking place from 14 to 20 April 2025, featuring a star-studded lineup with Alexander Zverev and Jakub Mensik leading the way.
Defending champion Jan-Lennard Struff returns after claiming the title last year with a straight-sets win over Fritz. Other big names include Ben Shelton, Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Denis Shapovalov in a tournament held one week after the Monte-Carlo Masters and parallel to the Barcelona Open.
The most notable absence is Denmark’s Holger Rune, champion in 2022 and 2023, who opted to compete at the Barcelona Open this year. While Taylor Fritz and Hubert Hurkacz have both since withdrawn.
The South American contingent will also be well-represented, with several clay-court specialists seeking a strong result in Germany. The in-form Francisco Cerundolo (No. 24) joins Alejandro Tabilo (No. 31) and Nicolas Jarry (No. 47) in the draw.
Meanwhile, Ugo Humbert (No. 20), Jiri Lehecka (No. 27), and Matteo Berrettini (No. 30) are among those looking to take advantage of Munich’s faster clay conditions compared to Barcelona.
