Next week's Battle of the Brits might be the last time
Andy Murray and
Jamie Murray play together as the latter suggested it leading up to it.
The Murray brothers did not play that many matches together over the years, certainly not as many as they could have. We might be nearing the end of that combination as Jamie Murray suggested that next week's Battle of the Brits might be the last time they will play together:
"It's certainly possible. I don't know what his plans are, really. I guess it depends on how he's playing, how his body's feeling. It's not like we get loads of opportunities to do it. That was one big reason for putting the event on in the first place."
Doubles specialist Jamie Murray is not on top anymore, similar to Andy but he shares his brother's passion for tennis and certainly plans on keeping his tennis career alive:
"I still enjoy getting out there, competing against the best players, playing the biggest tournaments. As long as I can keep doing that, I want to do it."
We will see the Murray on Tour for a bit longer but whether they play together next week remains to be seen. If so, it might be the last time they do.
