After a late night special at the Paris Masters, the schedule has been confirmed for Quarter-Final day at Paris Bercy. Our preview looks ahead to Day Five with four top ties left to set up the semi-final line-up.
The main one of note will see Stefanos Tsitsipas face off against Alexander Zverev for the 16th time with the latter now in pole position to win the title as the favourite after the demise of Carlos Alcaraz.

Tsitsipas holds cards in Head to Head

Tsitsipas though holds the upperhand. Both of whom were part of the rise of a group of top talents seen as likely to anchor the sport at this point but it hasn't really happened. The next generation as a result have taken over. But they have a chance for a title here. Tsitsipas also will hope to win to keep his Turin hopes alive with a title likely needed. The same can be said for Grigor Dimitrov who is still involved and likely Holger Rune to try and overtake Andrey Rublev.
Tsitsipas has won most of their last few meetings. He sealed victories in 2024 at Monte-Carlo as well as last year in the Last 16 in Paris with Zverev's wins coming sporadically recently at the United Cup, Madrid and Cincinnati in 2024, 2022 and 2021. So it hasn't been the easiest task for him but is certainly the match of the day both for entertainment factor and also the likely ATP Finals repercussions.

ATP Finals hopes hang in the balance

They start the schedule off with all matches now on Court Central. Holger Rune and Alex de Minaur like alluded to are next. The Aussie's chances of Turin hold on like a thread. But thankfully for him, he defeated Jack Draper to end his hopes and Tsitsipas' hopes could be over by the time he plays. While Rune needs to win the title to put himself in position. There is also the Novak Djokovic of it all with the Serbian an unknown to play in Turin.
Then it is the two matches with the big chances as the home hero remains. Ugo Humbert faces off against Jordan Thompson for a spot in the semi-finals.
Humbert took down Carlos Alcaraz in an epic win days after he complained about being snubbed for a spot on the Centre Court. He has proven why he deserves that billing as the top Frenchman and continues to dazzle. He faces Jordan Thompson who is undergoing his deepest run at a Masters 1000 tournament and is hitting new heights continually.
Before Karen Khachanov who has been in superb form as of late aims to continue that. He faces Grigor Dimitrov who had a resurgence this time last year at the Paris Masters and carried that on for some of the best form of his career. He saw off Arthur Rinderknech in a late night epic and due to his late finish will end proceedings on Friday night on the Central Court. Finals weekend is coming at the Paris Masters with eight players becoming four in very short order.
