Rafael Nadal's iconic black shirt, with which he achieved his career Grand Slam-completing victory in 2010, will be auctioned, and it is expected to be sold for over $35,000. The 22-time Grand Slam champion has had one of the most illustrious careers in tennis history, placing him among the best in the sport. He completed the Career Grand Slam at just 24 years old, making him the youngest player to achieve it so far.

Nadal had won his first major title at the 2005 French Open and went on to win four consecutive titles before securing another at Wimbledon in 2008. Soon after, at the 2009 Australian Open, he completed the 'Surface Slam,' winning titles on all three surfaces.

The milestone of completing all four Grand Slam titles at least once was achieved at the 2010 US Open, where he defeated Novak Djokovic 6-4, 5-7, 6-4, and 6-2. It was his 9th major title and second on hard courts, in addition to being his third consecutive major title, having already won Roland Garros and Wimbledon in the same year.

The great victory at Flushing Meadows left a lasting memory, the fluorescent black and green Nike shirt worn by the former ATP world No. 1. This shirt is now signed by Rafa and ready to be auctioned on April 27 by Prestige Memorabilia, with bidding starting at $5,000.

Sports Investors Authentication has verified that the fluorescent black and green Nike shirt was worn during the 2010 US Open final. The winner will receive, along with the shirt, official documentation confirming its authenticity.

Moreover, it is expected that the iconic shirt worn by Rafa will be sold for over $35,000. For more information about items and bidding terms, visit TheTennisAuction.com. Recently, another Nadal shirt was auctioned, the one he wore to win his first Roland Garros in 2005, which sold for $113,924.
