The 2024 Monte-Carlo Masters is set to continue on Tuesday with Novak Djokovic the leading light in action. But the Serbian is unlikely to play until at least mid afternoon as rain has hit Monaco. The weather forecast too doesn't look that favourable for much of the schedule to take place this afternoon.
Djokovic alongside Alexander Zverev are likely to be the ones hit the most with the duo among the final players to take to the court to face Roman Safiullin and Sebastian Ofner respectively. Other clashes include Arthur Fils v Lorenzo Musetti, Matteo Berrettini v Miomir Kecmanovic and also Alex de Minaur v Stan Wawrinka.
This means that a bumper Wednesday is likely with Carlos Alcaraz, Andrey Rublev, Holger Rune and Casper Ruud all already pencilled in to play tomorrow. But this will likely get added to. As per the weather forecast, the earliest in which there is less than 66% chance of rain is around 8pm this evening. Wednesday too looks pretty terrible in the early forecast with rain for much of the day. Already play has been delayed until at least 12pm local time so in around 15 minutes and that will likely be extended for the foreseeable.
