Holger Rune and
Casper Ruud have had some issues in the past but according to Rune everything is fine between the players as they talked after their clash.
Rune and Ruud clashed at last year's Roland Garros mostly due to their competitive natures which pushed them both to try everything to win. Following the match they exchanged a few words during the handshake and after the match they had words for each other as well. Yesterday was another heated clash with Ruud complaining about the medical time out after the match.
It doesn't seem like they are clashing as they did before and Rune confirmed that they are okay now after the match:
“Everything’s good. We talked after RG & we're fine. I don't have a problem with him, he's a great player, showing some of his best tennis, especially on clay. He's tough to play. I respect him a lot. Happy to finally get a 1st win over him”
