The Laver Cup has been a source of entertainment for several tennis fans who enjoy the more relaxed atmosphere, and this year's edition will see some slight changes to each team's roster.

The best players from the world are split into two teams based on their continent of origin, with the Europeans representing Team Europe whereas everyone else represents Team World. Team Europe are the defending champions, after pulling off an incredible comeback to prevail with a 13-11 victory in 2024.

Both teams will undergo a change in management

Tennis legends Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe captained Team Europe and Team World respectively, and had been in that position since the tournament's inaugural edition in 2017. However, both men will be stepping down before this year's edition, which is scheduled to take place in San Francisco from September 19-21, 2025.

With tennis greats Andre Agassi and Yannick Noah already announced as captains for Team World and Team Europe respectively, the Laver Cup organizers released the names of each team's vice-captain. Team World will have Australian legend Patrick Rafter assisting Agassi, whereas Team Europe will turn to British icon Tim Henman, who will work alongside Noah.

Although each roster has yet to be filled, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz and American Taylor Fritz have already been confirmed for this year's edition of the event.
