Tennis sensation Carlos Alcaraz is undeniably great at tennis, but the Spaniard has also shown his proficiency at other sports, in this case, golf.
The former World No.1 spent some of his off-season in the United States, where he faced local favorite Ben Shelton in an exhibition match. Alcaraz would go on to defeat Shelton at the Madison Square Garden event, prevailing in a third set tiebreak after both men had split the first two sets.
During his free time, Alcaraz met up with former World No.1 Andy Roddick, with the two battling each other in a simulated golf video game. The retired American took to social media to share some footage of Alcaraz trying his hand at the sport.
"In our new segment, “unsurprising news,” Carlos smokes Andy in simulated golf," read the caption of the video posted to the 2003 US Open champion's "Served with Andy Roddick" podcast social media page.
"Oh he did it," Roddick could be heard saying as Alcaraz took a huge swing at the ball. "Oh, Carlos you're gonna love it, I got it on video."
"Look at that memory," added Roddick as people in the background could be heard gasping in amazement at Alcaraz's skill.
