An exciting exhibition was announced for early March at the MGM Rewards, featuring Aryna Sabalenka and Jannik Sinner as the main stars. The event will take place at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas from March 1–2, just before the start of Indian Wells.
The exhibition will showcase six players, including local stars Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul. Joining them are 4-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka and world No. 2 Alexander Zverev. The matches will be played on indoor hard courts ahead of the Sunshine Double.
Sinner and Sabalenka remain in contention at the Australian Open, aiming to defend their 2024 titles. The Italian will face American Ben Shelton in the semifinals after an impressive win over local favourite Alex de Minaur (No. 8 seed) by 6-3, 6-2, 6-1.
Meanwhile, Sabalenka dominated Paula Badosa with a 6-4, 6-2 victory, advancing to her third consecutive final in Melbourne. Sabalenka boasts 20 consecutive wins in Melbourne so far. Both players are favourites to clinch the title, meaning the exhibition could feature the most recent Grand Slam champions if they live up to expectations.
Also still in competition in Melbourne is German Alexander Zverev, who has advanced comfortably through the tournament. He will face 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic in the semifinals.
