The Australian Open is incoming between Sunday 12 - 26 January and is the first Grand Slam of the 2025 season. Find out all the latest results, schedules, Prize Money and TV Guide with our Tournament Centre.
Jannik Sinner will lead the ATP men's draw. He is defending champion and current World No.1. He will have stiff competition from Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev and a certain Novak Djokovic aiming to reach the undisputable 25 Grand Slams.
In the WTA women's draw, it will be Aryna Sabalenka who leads the way. The World No.1 has like Sinner ascended into becoming the leading light since her triumph and will aim to win a hat-trick of titles. Coco Gauff, Elena Rybakina and Iga Swiatek will provide the competition.
Prize Money
There will be a record amount split over the main singles draws, qualifying singles, doubles men's and women's and mixed doubles.
This is an increase of 11.56% on the 2024 figures. They will vie for $3,500,000 in prize money to the winner. Runner-Up will claim $1,900,000. While semi-finalists claim $1,100000. Quarter-finalists are set for $665,000.
