In a new Daily Dose of Social Media, Carlos Alcaraz took centre stage with his enthusiastic celebrations after winning the Monte-Carlo Masters title. Meanwhile, Alexander Zverev, Daniil Medvedev, and Jack Draper were among the ATP stars who reacted to some hilarious impressions of top players on the Tour.

On the other hand, Ben Shelton showed his arrival in Munich, where he visited the Allianz Arena for the German football classic between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, while Jessica Pegula shared photos from her meeting with two music stars.

Carlos Alcaraz won the Monte-Carlo Masters title for the first time this Sunday after defeating Lorenzo Musetti 3-6, 6-1, 6-0 in a final marked by the Italian's leg injury. It is the 6th Masters 1000 title for Alcaraz, who returns to World No. 2 and moves further ahead of Alexander Zverev in the ATP Rankings.

The past few weeks hadn’t been easy at all for Carlos Alcaraz. The Spaniard, who arrived in Monte Carlo as the new world No. 2, played his first clay-court tournament of the year with some doubts after his irregular performance at the start of the season, especially following an early exit at the Miami Open. However, those issues now seem to be behind him on clay, where he has claimed his second title of the year, in addition to the ATP 500 Rotterdam Open.

Alcaraz's celebrations drew plenty of attention, with a big moment at the Monte-Carlo Country Club alongside the ball boys, who were shouting and jumping with excitement. The 4-time Grand Slam champion joined in their celebration as he walked off the court carrying the trophy he had won just minutes earlier. The Spaniard also performed a dramatic pool dive from about 10 metres into the Olympic-sized swimming pool at the club, to the applause of the club’s staff who witnessed the moment.

Jessica Pegula enjoys girls' night out with country stars

Jessica Pegula reunited with singers MaRynn Taylor and Kelsea Ballerini during a concert at the KeyBank Center, home of the Buffalo Sabres from the National Hockey League (NHL). The club is owned by billionaire Terry Pegula, father of the current world No. 3. “Had such a good girls night watching @kelseaballerini & @marynntaylor crush it. Also thank you Kelsea for the sweet surprise shoutout to my mom ♥️” Pegula posted on social media.

Pegula is currently enjoying one of the best moments of her career, having recently claimed the title at the WTA 500 Charleston Open, where she defeated Sofia Kenin in the final 6-3, 7-5. The American No. 1 has won 10 of her last 11 matches, with her only loss coming in the final of the Miami Open against Aryna Sabalenka. Now she awaits her next challenge at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, where she will face the winner of the match between Poland’s Magdalena Frech and Slovakia’s Rebecca Sramkova.

ATP stars react to hilarious impressions during Monte-Carlo Masters

ATP stars present at the Monte-Carlo Masters took part in a fun video where they reacted to the impressions of a tennis impersonator, who performed as some of the best players on Tour. The tennis coach from Greece, who regularly showcases his talent for impersonations, was praised by players like Daniil Medvedev, Jack Draper, and Alexander Zverev, who were surprised by how accurately he mimicked each player’s style. Football and forehands: Shelton kicks off Munich week at Allianz Arena

Ben Shelton showed fans what his arrival in Germany was like ahead of the Munich Open, where he quickly began training for the upcoming tournament. He enters the event as the second seed, behind only Alexander Zverev. Despite the busy schedule, the American took some time off to attend a football match at the Allianz Arena, where Bayern Munich faced their classic rivals Borussia Dortmund in a high-stakes showdown that ended in a 2-2 draw.

Shelton was seen on the practice courts, where he greeted Denis Shapovalov and even received a special gift: a Bayern Munich jersey with the number 21 and his name on the back. The American is preparing for his tournament debut against qualifier Borna Gojo on Monday, a player he has never faced before. The world No. 14 is looking to claim his first clay-court win of the season after a surprising early loss in his Monte-Carlo Masters opener to Spain’s Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, who went on to reach the semifinals.

Tsitsipas reunites with ‘papa-Björn’ Borg

Stefanos Tsitsipas met up with none other than former World No. 1 Björn Borg and shared a heartfelt photo showing their mutual appreciation. The Greek star took part in four Laver Cups with Borg as captain of Team Europe, contributing to three titles (2019, 2021, 2024) and one runner-up finish (2022) in the tournament that pits Europe’s best against the Rest of the World.

The Swedish tennis legend won 66 titles as a professional, including 11 major titles – making him one of the greatest players in tennis history, with six Roland Garros crowns and five Wimbledon trophies. Until Rafael Nadal’s rise, Borg was widely considered the greatest clay-court player of all time.
