As the whole ATP Tour is suspended until 13th July 2020, many players didn't touch their racquet for some time as they now return to courts.
Tennis players are used to traveling a lot and so the Coronavirus lockdown situation is even more unique to them. Also,
Fabio Fognini knows a lot about this is the Italian did not step on the tennis court for 2 months.
Previously, Fognini took part in the
Virtual Madrid Open where he reached the quarterfinals. Now, Fabio changed the controller for racquet once again as he returned to court also with his wife Flavia Pennetta. On his Instagram profile, Fabio wrote:
"In these troubling times you realize just how much something means to you when it's taken away....for me, that is Tennis. Today is a special day. Being back on the court after two months has been something amazing. And I’m blessed to share this moment with the person I love. This is my country, my city, my court, my sea. Something very normal but special. The road to normality is still very long but I will always remember the feeling of this day. Sending all my emotions and love to all of you. Let’s keep fighting together!" Fognini wrote.
