11 titles remain for Novak Djokovic to achieve one of the only records that he can still break in his career to emerge as the true greatest of all time and he is chasing that in 2024.
That is Jimmy Connors' 109 career singles titles which is the most in ATP history. Speaking before the Davis Cup Finals got underway which saw Serbia seal a spot in the semi-finals where Djokovic will once again duel with Sinner, he is prepared to give it all he's got to tick off one of the only goals remaining.
He currently sits on 98 titles and with time running out in his career, he will hope to maintain his current level which has seen him still atop the ATP pile at the age of 37 while his contemporaries wind down or end their careers.
But as well as that, his previous discussed goals of a Calendar Grand Slam and Olympic Gold medal so a Golden Slam are also on his mind. One record he will never break is the most Roland Garros titles that Rafael Nadal has won, but it is one he is not chasing given he would have to play until he is 50 he joked pre-tournament in Malaga.
"I'm ready for this challenge, I just think about getting to the big date healthy," he said per Punto de Break.
"I know myself perfectly, I don't want to be arrogant, but I know that if I'm well physically and mentally, I'm able to do it. It also sounded unreal to win three Grand Slam titles this year.
