Jannik Sinner flies to Miami for girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya's birthday defying break-up rumours

A noted absence from Anna Kalinskaya's Instagram stories and celebrating her 26th birthday was her boyfriend Jannik Sinner. But the World No.1 did fly to Miami to be with her after he finished the Davis Cup Finals.

Albeit after having the spotlight shone on his relationship in public during the last few months, Sinner instead is taking some time privately with his fellow tennis pro girlfriend.

According to Correire, Sinner was present at the FITP (Italian Tennis Federation Gala) as his frantic season came to a close but that he then flew to Miami as his ATP Finals and Davis Cup Finals double finished.

Kalinskaya turned 26 on Monday and according to reports, it was a trip with 'absolute discretion' with neither Sinner or Kalinskaya posting pictures of each other. The latter did post celebrating her birthday and that she was in Miami but not with Jannik, they also evaded paparazzi.

In starting the relationship, Sinner and Kalinskaya being such a high profile tennis couple have managed to be in fair amounts of obscurity but also in the public eye with the latter kissing him in pictures that went around the world after the US Open in a real show of their love.

But also they have been besieged throughout with rumours that their relationship is in crisis mainly due to them both unfollowing each other on social media quicker than the wind blows which often creates stories in the Italian press. But they now have time to spend the off season together and seemingly are avoiding the extra attention which has been an issue this season.

"Having a girlfriend is something that makes you feel good or makes you feel bad. I want it to be something that feels very natural, that comes into my life normally. I can't allow myself to change as a player or as a person. It hasn't happened, that's why it works," he said to Esquire back in September. Many construed that as friction in the camp but the writer of the article said it had been misinterpreted.
