Zverev allegations prompt Laver Cup presenter to quit role: "I felt like I’d be complicit in the whitewashing of very serious allegations"

While Team Europe at the Laver Cup have been in impecible form, Alexander Zverev has once again been a discussion point.

This due to the domestic abuse allegations levied at Zverev which have seen the Laver Cup account block those posting this on Twitter and also Reilly Opelka making a comment in reference to it after Zverev said that was the last point they were going to win.

But this has gone off the court with esteemed broadcaster and commentator, Mary Carillo deciding to quit her role due to the allegations.

“In the end I just felt like I’d be complicit in the whitewashing of very serious allegations. I couldn’t be part of it,” she said of her decision to quit her Laver Cup job.
