Emma Raducanu will play a tennis match on Sunday at the Royal Albert Hall against Elena-Gabriela Ruse for the Champions Tennis exhibition.
The event will mark the first time Raducanu will play a tennis match since her end of the season match at the WTA event in Linz. It will also be the first match Raducanu plays on native soil after her stunning win at the US Open having last played at Wimbledon. It will also be the first time Ruse and Raducanu play against each other even if it's an exhibition event.
The pair know each other well and recently bonded during their stay in Cluj-over their shared Romanian heritage. The match will be played on Sunday at the Royal Albert Hall and it will be shown live on the BBC iPlayer. The champions tennis will feature several other notable players at the event including Rusedski, Haas, Baghdatis, Stepanek, Almagro Youzhny, Gonzalez, Enqvist, and more.
