After taking a sabbatical from social media to focus on her mental health,
Naomi Osaka checked in with fans to share her latest Vogue Japan cover.
The World No.2 took to Twitter to reveal her newest photospread, captioning the post with a positive message for all her fans.
"Hope you're all doing well and staying safe" Osaka wrote on Twitter.
The four-time Grand Slam champion was embroiled in controversy over the past month, following her refusal to partake in post-match press conferences at the
French Open. This led to her being fined after her first round match, resulting in Osaka withdrawing from the event citing mental health reasons.
The Japanese superstar recently announced she would not be competing at
Wimbledon, but is representing her home country at the upcoming Tokyo
Olympic Games.
“She will be ready for the Olympics and is excited to play in front of her home fans,” her team wrote in a statement.
