Open 6ème Sens Métropole de Lyon Entry List including Giorgi, Golubic and Cornet (Last Update - 25-02)

The Open 6ème Sens Métropole de Lyon is a WTA 250 event that will run in the final week of February finishing in a couple of days into March with Camila Giorgi as the top seed.

The event is a fairly recent WTA event played indoor with usually very solid fields. The field this year is not as strong as in previous years as it's running parallelly with WTA Monterrey which has a very strong field but the event should still draw a fair share of people with some solid players attending. The top seed is Camila Giorgi with the Italian hoping to win a trophy after the last triumphing at a Masters event last year.

Besides Giorgi, we will see other solid players such as Viktorija Goluvic, Marketa Vondrousova and Alize Cornet who is possibly playing her final season this year. If she indeed is this will be the last time she will play in Lyon and French fans will certainly come to see her compete. After a solid run in Melbourne, she will be motivated for a good showing as well.
