Two-time champion Naomi Osaka appears to be eager to return to tennis, based on her excitement about playing at the US Open next year.

The Japanese superstar recently gave birth to her first child in July, a baby girl whom she named Shai. Osaka's last professional tennis match coming at the 2022 Tokyo Open, with the 25-year old's last appearance at Flushing Meadows resulting in a first round exit.

The former World No.1 took to her Instagram to respond to a fan's post featuring her picture in New York, relating her anticipation for participating at the last Grand Slam of the season next year.

"See you next year,” Osaka said.
