Iga Swiatek is still undefeated at the
WTA Finals as she smashed
Coco Gauff 6-3 6-0 to finish 3-0 in the round-robin stage.
Coco Gauff has played Iga Swiatek a couple of times this year but each time the Polish player smashed her. They played in the San Diego quarter-finals a few weeks ago and Swiatek smashed her 6-0 6-3 leaving Gauff very disappointed. She didn't fare much better in this one as the score was pretty much the same.
Gauff held her own early on in the match but eventually, Swiatek was able to play herself into a good rhythm and once she did, it was game over. The American could not keep up losing the first set 6-3.
The second set was even more impressive as Iga thrashed Gauff who was far from the best at this event even before this match. A terrible finish for the year for Gauff as Swiatek still has a chance to the event undefeated.
