2021 Lyon Open Draw with Thiem, Tsitsipas, Monfils, Sinner

The 2021 Lyon Open will run from May 15h till May 22nd featuring a strong field of play headlined by Thiem, Tsitsipas, Monfils Sinner and more.

The 2021 edition of the Lyon Open will be the 4th edition of the event that is played on the red clay ahead of the Roland Garros. The date of the event makes it a popular event for players participating at the Roland Garros due to the proximity between Lyon and Paris.

The event will run from May 15th till May 22nd and it will feature a strong field of play with players like Thiem, Tsitsipas, Monfils, Sinner, Karatsev all participating. The event was not held in 2020 due to the pandemic so the de facto defending champion is Benoit Paire who won it in 2019.

The top four seeds will have a 1st round BYE but there are some amazing first-round matchups. Jannik Sinner will play Aslan Karatsev in a polarizing 1st round match that should deliver great tennis. The winner might face Thiem in R3 so it won't get any easier. 2019 Finalist will take on Lorenzo Sonego in another great matchup.
