Novak Djokovic has come out in support of American Danielle Collins for giving it back to the crowd at the 2025 Australian Open with incredible scenes that saw her trolling them with kisses and a hand to the ear.

Collins faced off against Destanee Aiava and sealed the win but throughout it was battling not only her but the crowd and it was Collins that came out on top.

Djokovic as expected being a fairly polarising figure in the sport either a love or hate character and also dealing with his own fair share of crowd issues laughed as he said he supports what she did and loves it.

"I loved her response, everything she said on & off the court. Big fan of Danielle Collins after that, I was before but now big fan. I love it. I heard some comments from people that she shouldn't have said that or that. I think she handled it really well. I don't think I'd be that polite. But then I know exactly the feeling. I think she was funny, smart, big fan of what she did," Djokovic laughed.

After blowing her kisses to the crowd and giving it back, she riled them up even more by saying that they pay her bills and it all goes towards the Danielle Collins fund.

"I was thinking during the match, 'if I'm out here, I might as well just take that big fat pay cheque!'," Collins said afterwards.

"Coco [Vandeweghe] and I, we love a good five-star vacation, so part of that cheque is going to go towards that. So thank you guys, thanks for coming out here and supporting us tonight."

"One of the great things about being an athlete is, the people that don't like you and the people that hate you, they actually pay your bills," she continued in her press conference.

"My professional career is not going to last forever and so I just remind myself every day when I have that stuff, they're paying my bills.

"Every person that's bought a ticket to come out here and heckle me, it’s all going towards the Danielle Collins fund.
