Following a historic season that saw her reach a career-high of World No.2, Coco Gauff continues to rack up the accolades as she was announced as one of the top female athlete earners in the 2024 calendar year.

The Atlanta native ended the year with the WTA Finals title, defeating both World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka and five-time Grand Slam champion Iga Swiatek en route to her biggest trophy this year. Despite failing to successfully defend her 2023 US Open singles title, Gauff rallied back from a disappointing Flushing Meadows exit to end the year on a high note.

The 20-year old amassed an impressive $9.4 million in total on-court winnings for the 2024 season. However, Gauff also earned an additional $21 million in endorsements this year, putting her above the $30 million benchmark. This solidified her spot as the highest-paid female athlete for 2024.

Additionally, Gauff became the third athlete to surpass the $30 million mark, following the footsteps of WTA legend Serena Williams and four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka.

Five other tennis players cracked the top 10 of highest paid female athletes in 2024. Iga Swiatek Qinwen Zheng, Aryna Sabalenka, Naomi Osaka and Emma Raducanu all finished with $21.4 million(3rd), $20.6 million(4th), $17.7 million(5th), $15.9 million(6th) and $14.7 million(7th).

Freestyle skier Eileen Gu came in 2nd place with a total of $22.1 million, whereas golfer Nelly Korda, gymnast Simone Biles and WNBA star Caitlin Clark round out the top 10 with $14.4 million, $11.1 million and $11.1 million respectively.
