The Entry List for the Rouen Open has been revealed, with the tournament set to hold its fourth edition on indoor clay courts with a 32-player singles draw. It will take place at the Kindarena Sports Complex in Rouen, France, from 14 to 20 April 2025.
The event will be headlined by Ukraine’s Elina Svitolina (No. 18), joined by Magda Linette (No. 31) and Linda Noskova (No. 32) as the top-ranked players. However, several big names will be looking to rediscover their best form.
Two former Grand Slam champions will feature in the draw: Sofia Kenin (No. 44), the 2020 Australian Open champion, and 2021 US Open winner Emma Raducanu (No. 48). Former world No. 3 Maria Sakkari (No. 63) and 2022 WTA Finals champion Caroline Garcia (No. 99) are also set to compete.
Defending champion Sloane Stephens is notably absent from the draw. Since lifting the trophy, her form has declined, suffering ten consecutive losses and recently dealing with an injury that kept her out of Indian Wells and the Miami Open. It remains unclear how long her recovery will take, though she could still receive a late wildcard.
Another highlight of the tournament will be the return of French veteran Alizé Cornet. The former world No. 8, now 35, is making a comeback a few months after her retirement. It’s uncertain whether she paused her retirement solely for this event or plans to resume her career.
Other notable names in the draw include Elina Avanesyan (No. 36), Xinyu Wang (No. 39), Olga Danilovic (No. 40), and McCartney Kessler (No. 42).
