The WTA Rankings have been updated for another week with Aryna Sabalenka set to extend her reign at the top of proceedings after winning the title. There were also big wins for Alexandra Eala and Emma Raducanu who were two of the main risers.

No matter what happened in Miami, Sabalenka was set to stay top albeit she could've been under threat if she went out early for future tournaments. But she managed to grow her lead significantly. She now has 10,541 points having had over 10,000 going into the final. This in comparison to Swiatek's 7,470.

Swiatek also defends a lot of points during clay as expected due to it being the main part of her season so in reality it will only grow for the World No.1.

Pegula battles towards American No.1 as Raducanu and Eala rise

Jessica Pegula's final run has seen her lead grow to Madison Keys. She now has Coco Gauff in her sights for American No.1. If she would've won the title, she would've overtaken her showing the margins between them.

Jasmine Paolini's run to the last four means that she moves past Mirra Andreeva back into World No.6 after losing a glut of points that Andreeva gained in Dubai. Elena Rybakina though is on the verge of falling out of the top 10.

Emma Navarro plays at the Charleston Open this week, technically her home tournament so in reality could find her way past her as early as next week's WTA Rankings. But will eventually anyway. Rybakina has decided not to defend Stuttgart so will drop down anyway.

Alexandra Eala is the star of this week in terms of rises.

No one has made a bigger leap though than Alexandra Eala. The Filipino sensation produced a stunning run to the semi-final which saw her beat both Keys and Swiatek. She has cracked the top 100 and will rise 65 spots to a new high of World No.75. She is the first woman from the Philippines to reach this high.

Emma Raducanu too has risen 12 spots to World No.48 and is back in the top 50 for the first time in three years. Elina Svitolina is also back in the top 20, while Marta Kostyuk is into the top 25 moving up five spots.

Ashlyn Krueger and McCartney Kessler also continue to thrive and exit the Sunshine Double as World No.34 and 42, new bests in their career.
